Tips
- Use their name and something you share — a family tradition, last year's Eid, a favourite dish.
- Add a dua. "Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum" (may Allah accept from us and from you) is the traditional Eid greeting.
- Keep it short for WhatsApp groups and longer for the people closest to you.
- For elders, write in Urdu and keep the tone respectful — آپ rather than تم.
- Send it on Eid morning after the prayer, when everyone is opening their phones.
